PRIVACY POLICY

Pharaon does not collect your data.

Last updated: 16 August 2026  ·  Applies to the Pharaon Android app, the Pharaon Windows app and the Pharaon web app.

Pharaon is a study planner that runs entirely on your own device. It has no user accounts, no servers of ours to send anything to, no advertising and no analytics. This policy is short because there is very little to describe.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data. We operate no backend service that your copy of Pharaon talks to, so there is no place for your information to arrive even in principle.

What you enter, and where it lives

Everything you put into Pharaon — your subjects, topics, exam dates, study sessions and progress — is written to a database on the device you are using, and stays there:

These copies are separate. Pharaon does not synchronise between your devices, because doing that would require sending your data somewhere. You can export a full JSON backup at any time and move it yourself.

Permissions the Android app asks for

Children

Pharaon is intended for students, including those under 18. Because it collects nothing, there is no personal information of a child — or of anyone else — for us to handle.

Third parties

Pharaon contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs and no social logins. No third party receives data from the app.

Two things are worth naming for completeness. The copy of Pharaon distributed through Google Play is updated by Google Play itself, under Google's privacy policy, in the same way as any other app you install from it. And this website is served by Cloudflare, which processes ordinary web request information (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and block attacks; that is a property of visiting the site, not of using the app.

Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, portability and erasure normally require asking a company for the data it holds about you. Here, you hold it: it is on your device. You can read it, export it to JSON, or erase all of it by deleting your data from within the app or uninstalling Pharaon.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be published at this address with a new date above. If a future version of Pharaon ever collected anything at all, we would say so here plainly and ask you first.
